SAVE THE DATE:
LaunchTank encourages students to think outside the box and get creative. The event creates young entrepreneurs out of high school students, while involving the community as mentors, with our schools as launching pads.
LaunchTank was created because we saw an opportunity to bring students, schools, community organizations, and business leaders together to promote entrepreneurship and support the talented youth in DeKalb County. We want to help students develop real-world skills that are critical for post-graduation success. Lastly—and perhaps more importantly— we want to assist these students in getting their innovative, marketable business concepts onto paper and to consumers.
Students from DeKalb High School, Lakewood Park High School, Eastside High School, and Garrett High School are eligible to enter.
Blake Webb, a junior at DeKalb High School, was the 1st place winner at the 2019 LaunchTank
with his business, Konnect Hosting.
